Friday Night Cooking with Wine
Join the Balistreri Vineyards team of demo chefs Friday, March 9th & Friday, March 23rd for two evenings of wine and small plate pairings. This is a special opportunity to taste amazing food crafted from sustainable, market-fresh ingredients paired with wines from the award-winning Balistreri Vineyards.
Chef Ariana and Chef Chris will present cooking demonstrations. Take-home recipe cards for every dish will be available so you can impress your friends by recreating the dishes at your next dinner party. Balistreri will offer special pricing on every wine featured during the event. Tickets for both evenings are available online.
About Balistreri Vineyards
John Balistreri uses all-natural ingredients to produce only one barrel of wine at a time. Balistreri proudly makes wine without chemicals or artificial flavorings. The wine is aged in barrels of solid American oak. This attention to detail produces vintages that are superior in quality to other reasonably priced wines.
The vineyard opens for wine tastings, winery tours and lunch seven days a week from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Lunch Menu
Balistreri’s head chefs have created a lunch menu inspired by the flavors of Colorado and featuring locally-sourced, fresh ingredients. The salmon and pumpkin risotto dish is truly delectable. The parsnip bisque served with a pancetta crisp and rosemary oil is a revelation. Finish your meal with the tartufo: house-made chocolate gelato and pomegranate pannacotta in a shell of European chocolate. The scrumptious treat is portioned for sharing.
